With its black Cerakote finish, rocks and road debris can't chip or ding this hitch, so rust doesn't stand a chance. Plus, it comes with a chrome-plated double-sided tow ball, so switching sizes is a breeze. Flip it around to stow it.

Towing trailers with different coupler sizes just got easier thanks to the 180 Hitch 2-ball mount. This ball mount features a chrome-plated 2" and 2-5/16" hitch ball on opposite ends of the ball mount platform. Switching to the opposite ball is fast and easy - pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank and simply flip over the platform so that either the 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball is on top. Slide it back up along the shank to the desired height and reinsert the dual pins, hitch up, and go! Because both balls are contained on the platform, you won't have to keep track of separate balls that must be completely removed and installed each time you need to switch trailers.
This ball mount's convenient stowable design keeps the ball mount platform out of your way when you're not towing. To stow the ball mount platform, simply pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank. Place the ball mount platform on the backside of the shank facing your vehicle. Reinsert the dual pins to attach the platform to the shank. The 180 Hitch can be used in either the drop or rise position to best suit your application.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Weigh Safe 180 hitch with two ball mount for your two inch trailer hitch receiver. This 180 hitch is going to slide into your two inch receiver, and it's going to give you a two inch, and a 2 5/16 inch double-sided chrome plated steel tow ball making switching tow ball sizes very easy for you. So you can tow different types of trailers. Whether you're towing a smaller utility trailer, or a camper, or a boat trailer, the dual functionality is going to eliminate the need for multiple hitches. Now this is also going to give you, when you have the shank in this orientation, a maximum drop of six inches.
And then when you flip that shank over, a maximum rise of seven inches with an incremental adjustment of one inch. So this is going to give you the height adjustability that you need so you can tow trailers of different heights all with the same vehicle. Now the 2 5/16 inch hitch ball has a gross towing weight of 12,500 pounds. And on the two inch ball it's 8,000 pounds. And this is going to give you a maximum tongue weight of 1500 pounds.
Now taking a closer look here, this hitch is constructed of aircraft grade aluminum. So this is gonna give you superior strength and durability. This also features this really great black Cerakote finish. It's a ceramic coating that's going to provide an extra layer of corrosion resistance, scratch protection, and durability. So not only does this finish make this hitch look good as it's sitting on the back of your vehicle, but if you tow in harsh environments such as salty winter roads or extreme weather conditions, this durable finish is going to do a great job of protecting this hitch.
And it's also going to keep it looking great and help it work properly for many years to come. So this does feature a dual pin slider lock that's gonna make it very easy to adjust the height and to switch the tow ball sizes. So I'm gonna take one of the keys here. I'm gonna remove our rubber cover here, insert the key into the lock, give it a turn, and that's going to allow me to easily remove our dual pin slider lock. While I have this out, I wanted to show you that our pins here are aluminum, the housing is aluminum, and our lock is plated steel.
So this is going to hold up really well against the elements. I went ahead and turned the key back to the lock position and removed the key, but I wanted to show you just how easily the ball platform here is going to slide up and down here. So very easy to get that height adjustment that you need. And then I'm just going to flip this over to the two inch ball, slide that back into place. And I'm going to rotate this here so you can see. So I can slide my dual pin slider lock back in position. So again, the key's not in there. I did turn it back to the locking position and watch this. That's just going to lock back into place, so we're nice and secure. And then I'm gonna replace the cover. So as you can see, you're not going to be at the back of your truck struggling to get that adjustment that you're looking for. It's gonna be a very easy, very smooth operation. Now another added bonus that this comes with, which I appreciate is a hitch pin lock. And so you're gonna get four keys. Everything is key-to-like, so one key is gonna operate both of these locks. So I'm just gonna go ahead and unlock this hitch lock and then turn that back to lock position. Remove the key, the cap is going to protect that keyway. And then I wanted to show you that when you do lock this without the key, it's going to secure right in place. So again, you're not going to need the key to lock that pin. So this just speaks to how easy this is going to be to insert this into your trailer hitch receiver and lock it into place. You're gonna have a theft deterrent with the dual locking pin here with the ball platform, and then with the hitch pin lock on the on your trailer hitch receiver. Let me give you some measurements. Measuring from the center of our first hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, we're sitting at about 8 1/2 inches. From the center of the second hitch pin hole to the center of the ball about 9 5/8 inches. And then from the center of the second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, about 1 7/8 inches. This is SAE J684 certified and VESC regulation V5 compliance. So if you are looking for a hitch, that's going to be really a great long-term investment for you, that's going to give you versatility, safety, durability, and as you saw here, very easy to use. Then this hitch is really gonna be an excellent option for you to consider. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
This Cerakote finished W/S hitch is made in the USA and worth the extra cost IMO; recommend getting either the 6in or the 8in Drop for flexibility. 2200lb hitch and 18.5K LB tow rating is plenty for my RAM, 6.7 Cummins, 3/4 ton with 2.5inch receiver. I highly recommend this hitch.
I recently used the Weigh Safe Cerakote Coated 180 Hitch with a 6" drop on a 1,300-mile trip, and it was fantastic. It handled everything—road grime, snow, salt, and mud—without ever looking dull or dingy.
The dual-ball design makes switching between trailers super easy, and the adjustable drop works perfectly to keep everything level. It was simple to install and felt solid and secure the whole trip. The locking pins kept everything safely attached to my truck, no worries about someone walking away with it. If you need a tough, reliable hitch that looks great and gets the job done, this one’s a no-brainer. Highly recommend!
